Mulholland Dr. is a film staring by Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, Ann Miller and Dan Hedaya, the story also write by the director David Lynch, I think this is the best film ever made by him, all of my friend agreed that Mulholland is downright brilliant. A masterpiece. This is the kind of movie that refuse to leave your head. Not often are the comments on the DVDs very accurate, but Vogue’s “It gets inside your head and stays there” really hit the mark.

David Lynch is known as the weird movies maker, but is this film he made the definition of weird. It’s bizarre, nightmarish, and absolute indescribable. It’s like a dream captured on film. By the 100-minute point, the film has become extremely confusing – but if you’ve been watching closely, it will make perfect sense. Having watched the movie and then read an article on the Internet pointing out things in the film, I now understand the movie completely.

After a brutal car accident in Los Angeles, California, Rita is the sole survivor but suffers mass amnesia. Wandering into a strangers apartment downtown, her story strangely intertwines with Betty Elms, a perky young woman in search of stardom. However, Betty is intrigued by Rita’s situation and is willing to put aside her dreams to pursue this mystery. The two women soon discover that nothing is as it seems in the city of dreams.
