2011 Darkest Hour is a new Action combine with Horror and Sci-Fi genre, directed by Chris Gorak, was released on 4 January 2012, this movie staring by Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby and Max Minghella and story written by Leslie Bohem.

At first I was very confused why this film criticism, even just got 9.4.10 on IMDB, and I quote the following piece of criticism from some users:

The Darkest Hour is without a doubt the absolute worst movie I’ve ever seen. You know how some really bad movies are so bad that they actually sort of good / funny? This is not one of them. It’s just plain bad. If it is a made-for-TV movie, it would still be one of the worst I have ever seen.

You should not listen to their criticisms of this film, I love everything about the movie, though alien invasion genre that has been a little tired lately. I am never bored and always in suspense as to what will happen next. At minute 89, this Russian-American joint production can probably just take more time with stories and characters, and not in a hurry to kill them. Because the background is very different, maybe they could show us more of the city or use a more effective location.
